Assist in the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of medical equipment.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical devices.
Help troubleshoot minor equipment faults under the supervision of senior engineers.
Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, calibration records, and equipment documentation.
Coordinate with clinical departments regarding equipment breakdowns and service requests.
Assist in inventory management and asset tagging of medical equipment.
Ensure biomedical equipment complies with safety standards and hospital policies.
Support calibration, quality checks, and functional testing of medical devices.
Liaise with vendors during equipment servicing and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)/Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) activities.
Participate in user training on the protected operation and basic maintenance of medical equipment.
Follow infection control, electrical safety, and hospital quality protocols.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Biomedical Engineering Department.
