Key Responsibilities
Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records and proper ledger maintenance.
Handle and maintain records relating to customs duties, overseas payments, and related transactions.
Review intercompany transactions and raise/generate invoices wherever required.
Coordinate with respective accounting teams to resolve transaction and variance-related issues during the month-end closing process.
Support the Finance team in achieving an accurate and timely month-end close.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports to management.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial plans.
Develop and monitor appropriate controls, procedures, and documentation for fixed asset management.
Assign and maintain fixed asset tag numbers.
Record fixed asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals in the accounting system.
Calculate and record monthly depreciation for all fixed assets.
Prepare the monthly depreciation schedule as per the Income Tax Act and the fixed asset schedule forming part of the Balance Sheet.
Support internal and statutory audit requirements by providing relevant schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
Identify opportunities for improving financial reporting,



reconciliation, and accounting processes.

Key Skills & Competencies
Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles.
Experience with computerized accounting/ERP systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive understanding of reconciliations and month-end closing processes.
Ability to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies and variances.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented workplace.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

Educational Qualification
MBA / CMA Inter/ CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
34 years of relevant industry experience in Finance & Accounts.
