Job Summary

The MTR Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring MTR machines to manufacture components according to engineering drawings and quality standards. The operator ensures secure machine operation, maintains productivity, performs routine inspections, and supports continuous production.

Key Responsibilities
Operate MTR machines as per production plans and work instructions.
Set up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters before production.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Measure finished components using gauges, vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Ensure product quality by conducting in-process inspections.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Report machine breakdowns or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.




Maintain production records and machine log sheets.
Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
Maintain housekeeping according to 5S standards.
Meet daily production targets while minimizing scrap and rework.

Required Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience operating MTR/CNC/VMC machines in a manufacturing workplace.
Knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of machine maintenance and quality standards.
