Job Summary

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to design and develop dashboards, data models, reports, and KPI visualizations that support business decision-making. The role will connect and transform data, create DAX measures, optimize models and report performance, validate data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders on reporting requirements.

Responsibilities
Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence
Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights
Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports
Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
Develop and Maintain the Data Governance in Power BI
Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards
Build multi-dimensional data models
Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop
Identify the requirements and develop custom charts accordingly

Requirements
5+ years of experience in Power BI
with at least 2 years of experience in ETL tools
Robust Knowledge of SQL queries for better results and performance
Hands-on in Azure Cloud setting especially with Synapse
Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design
Very positive communication skills; must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams and with internal teams
