Role & responsibilities
Operate the weighbridge for all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
Verify vehicle details, gate passes, purchase orders, delivery challans, and dispatch documents before weighing.
Record gross weight, tare weight, and net weight accurately.
Generate weighment slips and maintain daily weighbridge records.
Perform weighbridge transactions in SAP systems.
Coordinate with Security, Stores, Production, and Dispatch teams for smooth vehicle movement.
Ensure compliance with statutory weighing procedures and company SOPs.
Report weighbridge equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance.
Monitor unauthorised vehicle movement and prevent fraudulent weighment practices.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly weighment reports.
Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the weighbridge area
