We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Sales Officer Modern Trade to manage and grow sales across supermarkets, hypermarkets, organized retail stores, and other contemporary trade outlets. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring product availability and visibility, managing outlet relationships, executing promotions, and driving business growth within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
Manage sales and distribution across supermarkets, hypermarkets, retail chains, and modern trade outlets.
Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets for the territory.
Develop and maintain solid relationships with store managers, department heads, purchase teams, and outlet personnel.
Ensure product availability, stock levels, and proper product placement at all assigned outlets.
Conduct regular market and outlet visits to monitor sales, stock, pricing, and competitor activities.
Ensure planogram compliance, shelf visibility, product displays, and merchandising standards.
Execute company-approved promotions, schemes,



discounts, and in-store activities effectively.
Monitor primary and secondary sales and identify opportunities to improve business.
Coordinate with distributors, company sales teams, and store teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
Track stock ageing, expiry, returns, damages, and slow-moving products and take corrective action.
Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, new product launches, and visibility and report market insights.
Ensure proper placement and visibility of new product launches across assigned outlets.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales and market reports as required.
Follow up on outstanding payments and support the team in maintaining healthy receivables.
Identify new contemporary trade outlets and business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Ensure adherence to company sales policies, processes, and reporting requirements.
