Team Lead FHA Claims oversees daytoday operations of the FHA claims processing team within the US mortgage servicing workplace. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant submission of all FHA claim types (including Part A, Part B, CWCOT, PreForeclosure Sale, and Loss Mitigation claims). The Team Lead provides workflow direction, quality oversight, performance coaching

Manage, coach, and develop a team of FHA claims processors, monitor productivity, quality, and SLA adherence.

Ensure accurate preparation and submission of all FHA claim types in accordance with HUD guidelines, timelines, and documentation standards.

Maintain strict adherence to HUD, investor, and internal audit requirements; ensure documentation and claim files meet regulatory standards.

Assign daily workloads, manage queues, and identify process gaps or automation prospects to improve cycle times and reduce curtailments.

Conduct regular QC reviews, validate claim accuracy,



and ensure supporting documents meet FHA claim submission criteria.

Serve as the escalation point for complex claim scenarios, curtailment risks, and HUD audit findings.

Partner with foreclosure, loss mitigation, property preservation, and accounting teams to ensure claim readiness and data accuracy.

Prepare daily/weekly performance reports, track KPIs, and communicate trends or risks to leadership.

35+ years of handson FHA claims processing experience within US mortgage servicing.

Experience with mortgage servicing system

Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage highvolume workflows in a deadlinedriven setting.

1–2+ years in a lead, senior specialist, or supervisory role
