Purpose

To provide registration support to the business of Agro Chemicals globally such that interests of GCL are protected and business grows as per the agreed plan.

Key Deliverables

1) To evaluate every current molecule for its relevance to GCL in terms of regulatory requirements, field trials and timeline

2) To actively engage with Sales and Marketing for mapping competition response to the molecule on an on going basis

3) Interface with Agriculture universities and other quasi governmental bodies to generate data on GCL molecules and formulations

4) Interact with government bodies, ministries and regulatory agencies to present GCL requirements as well as to seek registration as per agreed timelines such as 9(3) and 9(4)

5) To continuously scout global regulatory setting for upcoming requirements for existing molecules and formulations

6) Work closely with Operations, R & D and Marketing for government formalities / customer support / operational support etc.





7) Provide leadership to existing people in Regulatory team by developing talent and initiating smooth transition to a high performance team.

Team size: About 10 people

Preferred candidate profile

Doctorate in Entomology or similar with excellent track record in Registration of agro chemicals at global scale. Must have been at a Leadership role for more than 2 years with similar responsibilities

Other essential requirements:

1) Valuable accomplishments in field trials and 9(3) as well as 9(4) registrations

2) Willingness to travel to markets, government bodies, universities and labs

3) Experience in registration in India as well as overseas is a must

4) Age: not more than 50 years. Older candidates will be OK if they meet all requirements
