Job Summary

Looking for a MidLevel Linux Administrator to manage and optimize our Linux systems. The role requires handson experience with server administration, automation, and troubleshooting, while also mentoring junior staff and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Monitor system health, performance, and security; troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access.
Perform regular updates, patches, and system hardening.
Configure and maintain core services (Apache/Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, DNS, DHCP, mail servers).
Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and highavailability solutions.
Automate routine tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible.
Support containerization and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, KVM).
Collaborate with developers, network engineers, and IT support teams.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
Provide guidance to junior administrators and assist in training.

Required Skills & Qualifications




3 to 5 years of experience in Linux system administration.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools (Bash, Python, Ansible).
Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
Handson experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Education & Certifications
Bachelors degree/Diploma in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, LPIC preferred.
