As a EMIR Engineer, you will focus on ensuring the electrical integrity and reliability of semiconductor devices, particularly in high-speed and high-power applications. Responsible for analyzing and mitigating EMIR issues, which can impact the performance and lifespan of electronic systems.
Responsibilities:
• Power Analysis (EMIR) and Modeling: Perform simulations and analysis using EMIR tools (e.g., Redhawk, Cadence) to predict and quantify EMIR. • Power Integrity Analysis: Analyze power delivery networks (PDN) to ensure proper voltage distribution and minimize IR-drop. • Design Optimization: Identify and implement design changes to minimize EMIR and improve power integrity. • Sign-off and Verification: Provide sign-off on design for EMIR and power integrity,
ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Collaboration: Work closely with other design teams (physical design, layout, etc.) to ensure a holistic approach to EMIR mitigation.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of EMIR principles, power integrity, and related design methodologies. • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with EMIR analysis tools, simulation software, and EDA tools. • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex
EMIR issues and develop effective solutions.
