Role Purpose:
To develop, optimize, and validate engine calibration datasets strategies for alternate-fuel (CNG/LPG) powertrains to achieve performance, drivability, fuel economy, and emission targets.
To execute testing, validation, and homologation activities while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and OBD requirements.
To identify and resolve calibration-related issues through data analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement of calibration and validation processes.

Role Description
Develop and optimize calibration maps for air flow estimation, fuel injection quantity, spark timing, and OBD2B functions for alternate-fuel powertrains.
Plan and execute engine, vehicle, and powertrain calibration activities to meet program milestones and quality objectives.
Prepare vehicles, ECUs, instrumentation, and test equipment for calibration, validation, and development testing.
Conduct chassis dynamometer, engine dynamometer, on-road, altitude, and environmental tests to validate calibration robustness.




Execute emission and OBD validation programs and ensure compliance with AIS, GTR, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with supplier, development, testing, and homologation teams to achieve calibration deliverables.
Plan and monitor homologation activities and support timely completion of certification requirements.
Analyze test results, identify performance gaps and failures, and carry out root cause analysis for timely resolution.
Develop, maintain, and update calibration specifications, test procedures, validation reports, and homologation records.
Drive continuous improvement in calibration methodologies, testing practices, and validation processes through PDCA-based approaches.
Support troubleshooting of field and development issues related to engine performance, emissions, drivability, and diagnostics.
