Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Material procurement and planning for Casting and Forging parts required for Vehicles and Aggregates such as Engine, Transmission (TM), Axle, and Foundry.
Utilization of IT tools like DBM / LTP / MRP for effective planning and tracking.Supplier capacity planning aligned with material requirements and timely escalations in case of gaps or constraints.
Inventory management to ensure optimum stock levels and avoid shortages/excess.
Change management through the Engineering Change Notice (EN) process.Driving cost savings initiatives in Packaging, Material, and Logistics.
Coordination and implementation of Packaging cost optimization and Logistics cost-saving initiatives for the department.
