Job Title: Resident Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer to provide Third Party Inspection (TPI) and Project Management services for various civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works at retail outlets, depots, terminals, and other facilities under IOCL. The role involves comprehensive supervision, inspection, verification, certification, and measurement of materials and works in compliance with contractual and statutory

requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Inspection:
Oversee and inspect all construction activities as per awarded Work Orders,
Schedule of Rates, Scope of Works, Technical Specifications, and relevant IS
Codes.
Material Verification:
Verify material invoices, test reports/certificates, and approved makes.
Conduct field tests and dispatch clearance for fabricated materials, including
structural steel canopy and other works.
Coordinate laboratory tests and implement corrective actions as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and submit inspection reports, observations, and jointly signed
measurements to contractors and IOCL within specified timelines.
Qualifications and Skills:




Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation)
or equivalent; Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
Minimum 3 years of experience for graduates or 5 years for diploma holders in
project supervision and inspection roles.
Solid understanding of IS Codes, safety practices, quality assurance, and
construction standards in the oil and gas sector.
Proficient in report writing, inspection documentation, and communication.
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage project timelines
effectively.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to travel and conduct inspections across different states and neighbouring
regions.
Familiarity with IOCL work standards, including development of recent A-site and B site ROs, canopies, and depot/terminal facilities.
Proficiency in using relevant testing and measurement equipment.

Employment Type:Full time

Salary:3.36 Lac to 4.2 Lac per annum

Work Location:Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura. Multiple

sites across IOCL facilities, as designated by the call-up orders
