Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated API test scripts using Rest Assured.
Create and maintain scalable API automation frameworks using Java and testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
Validate REST APIs, including request/response structures, authentication, status codes, and business logic.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end API testing.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Work with tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API monitoring solutions.
Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation.




Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality assurance best practices.

Required Skills
Solid experience in API Automation Testing.
Hands-on experience with Rest Assured framework.
Proficiency in Java programming.
Experience with TestNG/JUnit and Maven/Gradle.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, XML, and API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth).
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
