Accountant – Job Role & Responsibilities

Position: Accountant

Experience Required: 4–5 Years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, handling taxation matters, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain and manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, invoices, and bank transactions.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow activities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
Maintain ledger accounts and ensure accurate accounting records.
Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance activities.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
Monitor expenses, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
Ensure timely salary processing and payroll coordination if required.




Assist management in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and government regulations.
Support taxation and financial reporting activities as per applicable laws.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, ERP software, and accounting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive communication and coordination abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience
4–5 years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
Experience in handling GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Industry experience in manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
