Diploma in Anaesthesia Technology
B.Sc / Diploma in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology
Relevant qualification in Anaesthesia Technology preferred

Job Responsibilities
Prepare the Operation Theatre and anaesthesia workstation before procedures
Check anaesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, suction and oxygen supply
Prepare airway devices, breathing circuits and other required equipment
Assist the anaesthesiologist during induction, maintenance and recovery




Assist with airway management and intubation by preparing required equipment
Monitor and report changes in vital signs as directed by the anaesthesia team
Ensure emergency airway and resuscitation equipment is readily available
Maintain adequate stock of anaesthesia supplies and consumables
Clean, disinfect and maintain anaesthesia equipment according to hospital protocols
Report faulty equipment and arrange servicing or replacement
Assist with safe patient transfer and positioning
Maintain proper records and documentation
Follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols (Indeed)

Candidate Requirements
Valuable knowledge of anaesthesia equipment
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work calmly in emergency situations
Responsible and attentive approach
Willingness to work rotational shifts / night shifts
Good coordination with anaesthesiologists, surgeons and nursing staff
