Assistant Finance Manager-GL

Role & Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounts candidate for Group GL/Shared Service Center:
Should have strong knowledge of GL accounting, month-end/year-end closing, journal entries, accruals, provisions and prepayments.
Valuable understanding of Balance Sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, FX, fixed assets and IFRS is essential.
Should be proficient in ERP systems and Excel, with a positive understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow impact.
Strong analytical and communication skills to investigate variances, identify root causes, resolve issues and provide meaningful insights.
Should be a solid team player with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams/stakeholders, handle a team, support internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
Must be flexible to changing work scopes, take ownership of new responsibilities, demonstrate initiative, and proactively drive process improvements and automation.
