Job Purpose

Drive business growth by identifying, developing and securing Government supply contracts, tenders and institutional orders while building robust relationships with government departments and procurement authorities.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and track relevant Government tenders, GeM opportunities and supply contracts.
Manage the complete tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to order execution.
Develop relationships with Government departments, PSUs, procurement officers and key stakeholders.
Prepare and coordinate tender documentation, quotations, technical/commercial submissions and compliance documents.
Monitor tender deadlines, eligibility criteria, EMD, security deposits and contractual requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, costing, technical documentation, production and dispatch.
Negotiate commercial terms and ensure profitable business closure.
Maintain a strong Government sales pipeline and tender tracker.
Monitor order execution,



payment follow-ups and customer satisfaction.
Achieve assigned revenue, order value and business development targets.
Provide regular MIS and business updates to management.

Candidate Requirements
5 to 12 years of experience in Government Sales / Government Supplies / Tender Business.
Solid knowledge of GeM, Government procurement and tendering processes.
Proven experience in handling Government clients and successfully converting tenders into orders.
Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and tender documentation.
Willingness to travel extensively for business development and Government meetings.
Solid commercial understanding and target-oriented approach.
