Job Title: CMM Inspector

Department: Quality

Location: Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities
Perform dimensional inspection of components using CMM machines.
Operate and handle Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) effectively.
Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Identify defects and non-conforming components.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure components meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Follow quality procedures, SOPs, and safety standards.
Maintain proper documentation of inspection results.

Required Skills




Good knowledge of CMM inspection and measurement techniques.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Experience in using measuring instruments and gauges.
Basic knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures.
Positive attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
