Deputy Manager NSS

Role & responsibilities
Plan and coordinate NSS activities, camps, awareness drives, and community service programs.
Manage and guide NSS student volunteers and ensure active participation.
Coordinate with university departments, government authorities, NGOs, and community organizations.
Organize social welfare initiatives such as cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, awareness campaigns, plantation drives, and rural/community development programs.
Prepare annual/monthly activity plans, reports, proposals, and official documentation.
Maintain accurate records of NSS volunteers, activities, attendance, photographs, and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with University and NSS guidelines and reporting requirements.
Coordinate logistics, permissions, venues, transportation,



and resources for NSS events.
Monitor the performance and engagement of student volunteers.
Support NSS Coordinator in implementing strategic initiatives and university-level outreach programs.
Prepare presentations and reports for management reviews, inspections, audits, and statutory requirements.
Promote the university's social responsibility and community engagement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile
Education: Any graduate
Experience: 36 years of experience in NSS, student affairs, social outreach, NGO/community development, event management, or a similar role.
Experience in a higher education will be preferred.
