Databricks Genie Consultant / Data Engineer

Location: Mumbai / Bangalore (Hybrid - 2 Days WFO)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Databricks Genie Consultant / Data Engineer with robust expertise in Data Engineering and the Databricks Lakehouse platform. The role involves building scalable data solutions, enabling self-service analytics through Databricks Genie, and partnering with business teams to deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and data models.
Configure and manage Databricks Genie, including setup and deployment.
Develop semantic layers and ensure data is optimized for business consumption.
Create reports and dashboards for business users.
Collaborate with business and data teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.




Ensure data quality, governance, security, and lineage across the Databricks workplace.

Required Skills
Solid hands-on experience in Data Engineering and data modelling.
Expertise in Databricks, including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse Architecture.
Hands-on experience with Databricks Genie.
Experience building and managing semantic layers.
Strong SQL and analytical skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good to Have
Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
Exposure to Retail, CPG, or BFSI domains.

Experience: 5+ Years
