About the Role At IdeaCafe, we believe that ideas are the driving force behind every successful venture. As a rapid-growing media agency, we are heavily investing in our digital infrastructure and are looking for a highly autonomous, project-based Software Engineer / Tool Developer to partner with us on a contractual basis.

We are looking for a true builder. You will not be maintaining legacy code; you will be taking concepts from a blank canvas all the way to a production-ready product. If you thrive on independent problem-solving and can ship flawless tools that optimize workflows and structure complex data, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Ownership: Architect, build, and publish internal tools and software platforms entirely from scratch based on provided functional specifications.
AI Integration: Leverage modern AI models and frameworks to build smart, effective, and future-ready solutions tailored to agency needs.
Rapid Deployment: Turn blueprints—whether for an inventory management platform, automated tracking tool, or client dashboard—into live, production-ready assets within an agreed timeframe of a few months.




Quality Assurance: Proactively identify edge cases, brainstorm bugs, and deploy seamless fixes independently to ensure maximum uptime and flawless performance.

What We Are Looking For
Language Agnostic: You can code in whatever language or framework gets the job done best.
Full-Stack Capabilities: You are completely comfortable handling the frontend user experience, backend logic, database structuring, and deployment pipelines.
Proven Track Record: You have a solid portfolio of live tools, web applications, or platforms you have built and successfully deployed from scratch.
Minimum 5 years of Experience

Engagement Model
This is a Freelance / Contractual role, not a full-time position.
We will assign you multiple, scope-defined projects on a rolling basis.
Each project will have clear delivery timeframes and milestones.
