Design Engineer-Power Electronics VPDKeeps abreast of current technology trends, supports the Power Electronics technical roadmap, and Power Electronics strategic initiatives.
Experience with world-class simulation platforms and modelling best practices (managing libraries, version control, adaptable modelling techniques, etc)
Detail-oriented work standards and ability to abstract and present meaningful results
Create, Correlate & Maintain Detailed Power Electronics Component / System Models
Support Power Electronics Designers in Optimizing Component & Systems
Semiconductor Selection, Bus Bar Design, Capacitor Selection,



PCB Design, Sensors & Magnetics
Multi Goal Optimization such as Cost, Robustness, Weight, Space Claim & Control Stability
Predict System / Component Losses, Temperatures & Life Given Various Load Profiles
Support NPI, NTI, CPI, and Cost Reduction programs to meet quality and performance targets
Drive knowledge management including developing standard work and automating processes
Ongoing career development including seminars, training, and courses as needed
Support development of global VPD strategy for Electric Drive componentsDegree required:B.Tech/B.E/M.E/M.TechExperience required: 5-10YearsAdditional Information: This job requires working from office 5days in a week.This position requires working onsite five days a week.Relocation is available for this position.Posting Dates:
