Role & responsibilities
Monitor and interpret applicable environmental laws, regulations, notifications and guidelines.
Coordinate environmental compliance requirements related to GPCB, CPCB and other regulatory authorities.
Track changes in environmental regulations and assess their impact on Steamhouse operations.
Coordinate with environmental consultants, auditors and agencies.
Track environmental compliance activities, submissions, approvals, permissions and statutory deadlines.
Support CTE, CTO and other environmental permissions/compliance requirements.
Coordinate environmental monitoring of air emissions, stack emissions, ambient air, water, wastewater and noise.
Coordinate requirements related to ETP, STP, RO, DM Plant and wastewater management.
Coordinate Hazardous Waste, Solid Waste and industrial waste management activities.
Review environmental monitoring reports, laboratory reports and technical documents.
Identify environmental compliance gaps, risks and observations and coordinate corrective actions.
Maintain environmental compliance trackers, records, registers and statutory documentation.
Prepare Environmental MIS, dashboards, reports, charts and analytical summaries.
Prepare qualified PowerPoint presentations for management and submissions in tenders
Understand Steamhouse's industrial operations from an environmental perspective and convert technical information into transparent management presentations.
Prepare PPTs for management reviews, audits, regulatory inspections and environmental awareness programs.
Collect, analyze and present environmental data from different departments.
Track closure of environmental observations and compliance gaps.
Support pollution prevention, water conservation, waste reduction and resource optimization initiatives.
Stay updated with GPCB/CPCB regulations, notifications, standards and statutory requirements.
