Role & responsibilities
Create and manage the yearly buying plan and budget.
Find and choose reliable suppliers for steel, engines, electronics, and specialized marine parts.
Get the best prices, delivery times, and payment terms from vendors.
Write and sign legal agreements that follow maritime laws.
Make sure all delivered goods match strict marine safety and quality standards.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, marine engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 12 to 14 years in purchasing, with several years in heavy manufacturing, maritime or shipbuilding industries.
