Role & responsibilities
Lead and execute testing activities for Guidewire modules such as PolicyCenter,
ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and ContactCenter.
Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium,
Playwright, and other industry-standard automation tools.
Create detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts based on functional and technical
requirements.
Automate end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, and API testing,
leveraging tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, or UFT.
Analyze complex business, functional, and technical requirements to identify gaps and
suggest improvements.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, working closely with development teams to identify
root causes and drive resolutions.
Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines and integrate automated
tests within CI/CD workflows,



utilizing tools like Azure DevOps.
Validate data flow and integration points across Guidewire modules and external
systems.
Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, Bugzilla,
ensuring timely resolution.
Assess the impact of system changes and define regression test suites accordingly.
Monitor testing metrics and continuously improve test processes, automation
frameworks, and best practices.
Provide SME-level guidance on Guidewire modules, test strategies, and automation
best practices.
Mentor junior team members and share knowledge through documentation and
knowledge-sharing sessions.
