Prepare programs using appropriate G-code and M-code for HMC operations.
Understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, dimensions, tolerances, and machining specifications.
Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, and machining parameters.
Plan machining sequences and optimize cutting conditions for productivity and quality.
Set work offsets, tool offsets, work coordinates, and machine parameters.
Perform tool setting, job setting, fixture setting, and prove-out of programs.
Conduct first-piece inspection and make necessary program/offset corrections.
Monitor machining operations and ensure components are produced within specified tolerances.
Optimize existing CNC programs to reduce cycle time, tool consumption, and
