Role & responsibilities
Conduct Time Study and analyze process cycle times.
Perform Line Balancing to improve manpower utilization and production efficiency.
Identify process improvement opportunities using Lean Manufacturing tools.
Support implementation of Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, VSM, 6S and 8W initiatives.
Analyze production processes and recommend improvements in productivity, quality and efficiency.
Support Industrial Engineering (IE) activities, process standardization and productivity improvement.
Prepare and maintain process-related reports, documentation and analysis using MS Office.
Support project activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare and update process layouts/drawings using AutoCAD, where required.
Coordinate with Production and cross-functional teams for implementation of improvement projects.

Preferred candidate profile




Bachelor's/Diploma qualification in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related discipline.
Knowledge of Industrial Engineering (IE), Time Study and Line Balancing.
Valuable understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools, including 6S, 8W, VSM, Kaizen and Poka-Yoke.
Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to quickly understand processes, identify issues and learn new concepts.
Experience or academic/project exposure in process improvement or IE projects will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
