Drive field sales, customer visits, and deal closures across Western India (Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh), and provide sales support or temporary coverage for other regions as required.
Identify, qualify, pitch, negotiate, and close opportunities in chemicals, electronics/semicon, steel, city gas and related industries.
Manage key accounts, maintain strong relationships, and coordinate proposals with internal teams.
Track competitor activity and provide insights to optimise pricing and positioning.
Expected travel: ~50% within the Western India region and occasionally to other locations.

B. Market Development Industry Engagement
Attend industry conferences, events, and customer forums to build networks and generate leads.
Map market clusters, identify emerging hydrogen/electrolyser prospects, and develop sector-specific insights.
Identify recent and cultivate relationships with channel partners relevant to target sectors
Support marketing and strategy teams with on-ground intelligence for campaigns,



customer-specific technical or commercial pitches, and GTM activities.

C. Forecasting, Reporting Coordination
Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide accurate weekly/monthly forecasts to EVP-BD and Chairman s Office.
Analyse customer demand, project activity, and sector trends to inform sales strategy.
Submit structured field reports and support preparation of presentations for internal reviews.

Qualifications

Candidates who have Degree (Chemical or Electrical Engineering).

4 6 years of experience in enterprise sales and business development.

Proven track record of sales of at least one of the following: industrial gases, renewable energy technology or equipment, or Open Access power to industrial customers in Gujarat or Maharashtra.

Robust commercial judgement, networking and people skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
