Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in system design, containerization, authentication mechanisms, and handling high-throughput platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems and APIs
Build and manage containerized environments using Docker
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
Develop systems capable of handling high-throughput and peak traffic loads
Work with API gateways to manage routing, security, and scalability
Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability
Write clean, testable code with proper JUnit test coverage
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams

Required Skills:




Strong experience in Docker workplace setup and containerization
Strong understanding of stateless system design principles
Solid knowledge of Authentication & Authorization (AuthN/AuthZ) and when to use each approach
Experience in building medium to large-scale distributed systems
Experience handling high-throughput systems:
Using queue-based architectures for peak traffic
Strong understanding of API Gateway concepts:
What, why, and how to manage
Ability to write JUnit test cases

Positive to Have:
Experience with API Gateways such as:
Apache APISIX
AWS API Gateway
Knowledge of workflow engines (e.g., Kestra.io)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Experience with microservices architecture
