The Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting reconciliations, handling TDS and GST compliance, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This role requires a qualified with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Reconciliation:
Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in account balances.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of reconciliations in accordance with company policies.
TDS (Tax Deducted at Source):
Calculate and process TDS deductions in compliance with applicable tax laws.
Prepare and file TDS returns, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
Maintain records of TDS deductions and payments, and address any issues or queries.
GST (Goods and Services Tax):
Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Monitor GST compliance and manage input tax credit claims.
Resolve GST-related queries and assist with audits as necessary.




Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Provide detailed explanations for reconciliation items and tax-related entries.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Process Improvement:
Identify and recommend improvements in accounting processes and controls.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reconciliations and tax compliance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3 to 4 years of relevant experience in accounting with a focus on reconciliation, TDS, and GST.
Solid knowledge of TDS and GST regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
