Key Responsibilities
Design Concepting: Create sketches, 3D models, and renderings for loose furniture.
Technical Drawings: Produce detailed production drawings, Joinery details, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
Factory Collaboration: Visit manufacturing units regularly to review prototypes and production runs.
Material Selection: Source and select woods, metals, fabrics, finishes, and hardware.
Quality Control: Inspect first-article production pieces at the factory for design accuracy.
Trend Analysis: Research market trends, materials, and production technologies.
Problem Solving: Modify designs based on factory feedback to optimize manufacturing efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design,



or Product Design.
Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or Fusion 360, plus rendering tools (Keyshot/V-Ray).
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of woodworking, upholstery, metalwork, and manufacturing constraints.
Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently to local or regional factories.
