Job Summary

We are looking for a Utility Operator / Utility Helper to support the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of utility equipment and systems. The candidate will assist the Utility/Maintenance team in ensuring smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor utility equipment as per standard operating procedures.
Assist in operation of compressors, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, DG sets, HVAC systems, and other utility equipment.
Check equipment parameters such as pressure, temperature, current, water level, etc.
Carry out routine inspection and identify abnormalities in utility equipment.
Assist maintenance technicians during preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Maintain utility area cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
Record equipment readings and maintain daily utility log sheets.
Check water, air, electrical and other utility supply as required.
Support minor mechanical/electrical activities under supervision.
Follow LOTO, PPE and all safety procedures while working.
Report equipment abnormalities, leakage,



unusual noise, vibration or breakdowns to the supervisor.
Ensure proper housekeeping and secure working conditions in the utility area.
Perform other utility-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of industrial utility equipment.
Basic mechanical/electrical knowledge.
Ability to understand equipment readings and gauges.
Basic knowledge of tools and maintenance activities.
Positive observation and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Team player with a responsible and disciplined approach.
Knowledge of 5S and industrial safety will be an advantage.

Eligibility
ITI Fitter
1–2 years of experience in utility, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial plant operations.

Key Performance Areas (KRA)
Smooth operation of utility equipment.
Timely reporting of equipment abnormalities.
Accurate recording of utility parameters.
Minimum utility-related downtime.
Compliance with safety and 5S standards.
Proper housekeeping of the utility area.

Shift: Rotational Shift Salary: As per experience and company standards
