Position: Manager – Administration & Admissions

Location: Chettinad Rani Meyyammai Hostel (Ladies Hostel), Chennai

About the Role

Chettinad Rani Meyyammai Hostel is seeking an experienced Manager – Administration & Admissions to oversee hostel admissions and lead the overall administration of the hostel. The role requires a candidate who can drive admissions by converting enquiries into confirmed residents while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of a ladies' hostel for college students and working women.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration
Manage the overall operations and administration of the hostel.
Supervise housekeeping, security, maintenance, kitchen, and front office teams.
Ensure a secure, clean, and well-maintained workplace for all residents.
Handle resident concerns and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hostel facilities and maintenance.

Admissions




Manage the complete admission process from enquiry to room allocation.
Follow up on enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and walk-ins.
Convert admission leads into confirmed admissions and maintain occupancy targets.
Maintain admission records, documentation, and resident databases.

Team & Operations
Lead and guide the hostel operations team to ensure productive daily functioning.
Monitor staff performance, attendance, and operational standards.
Prepare regular reports on admissions, occupancy, and hostel operations.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
5–8 years of experience in administration, admissions, hostel operations, or facility management.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/CRM knowledge is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
