Job Summary

Gyan International School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and agile PGT English to teach senior secondary students and contribute to their academic and overall development. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English language and literature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging, student-centric learning setting.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature as per the prescribed curriculum and school academic framework.
Teach senior secondary classes with a robust focus on conceptual understanding, literary appreciation, communication, and critical thinking.
Prepare students effectively for Class XI–XII examinations and board examinations through structured teaching, revision, practice papers, and regular feedback.




Develop lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, assignments, projects, and other teaching-learning resources.
Strengthen students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
Use innovative and experiential teaching methodologies, including digital tools, smart-class resources, multimedia, and activity-based learning.
Conduct regular formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate records of student performance.
Analyse student performance and provide appropriate academic support and remedial interventions.
Encourage students to participate in debates, declamations, elocution, creative writing, quizzes, dramatics, literary competitions, and public-speaking activities.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, creativity, and independent thinking.
