Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with solid expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services, secure APIs, and enterprise-grade integrations while ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for the Product Catalog Platform, including Product Identity Services and National PIN Registry.




Build and optimize distributed, event-driven microservices using
Go, Java, or Python
, leveraging
Kafka
and
gRPC
for high-performance processing.
Develop secure
REST APIs
and
MCP APIs
for marketplace integrations, AI agents, and external enterprise systems.
Implement integrations with standards and regulatory ecosystems such as:
HSN
EAN
UPC
GS1
FSSAI
BIS
Ayush
Support
W3C Verifiable Credentials (VC)
and
Decentralized Identity (DID)
based identity and certification services.
Ensure backend applications adhere to best practices in:
Database schema design
Idempotent processing
Eventual consistency
Zero-trust API security
Monitoring and observability
Production support and troubleshooting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
