Job Summary
As an Engineer specializing in Mechanical systems at JLL, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical aspects of construction projects. You'll ensure that all mechanical installations and systems meet quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate mechanical construction activities
Review and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
Manage subcontractors and suppliers for mechanical systems
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, structural, etc.)
Monitor project budgets and schedules related to mechanical work
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks
Resolve technical issues and propose solutions
Participate in project meetings and communicate with stakeholders
Oversee commissioning and handover of mechanical systems
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Proven experience as a Construction Manager with focus on mechanical systems
Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical building systems
Familiarity with building codes and industry standards
Excellent project management and communication skills
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM, MS Project)
