PRIMARY OBJECTIVEThis role will be responsible for financial and commercial management of development projects partnering with the Development Management team and engaging with capital partners. Key responsibilities include managing commercial, accounting and compliance management outcomes for project development (NSW, Queensland or Singapore as relevant). This position requires robust profit, cost and cash management focus with an understanding of the major drivers of property development across the residential, commercial and retail sectors.SUPERVISIONREPORTING TO:Commercial Manager (Brisbane, Sydney roles)

Act as business partner with project development management team to assist in project commercial and risk management
Scenario analysis with understanding of commercial drivers and bespoke contractual arrangements to inform decisions for key stakeholders including JV partners and communicate clearly so can be understood by non-financial stakeholders
Identification of pathways to achieve and / or exceed project budgeted results
Prepare and participate in presentations for project governance forums with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on providing financial insights
Debt strategy and project funding analysis
Transaction (Selldown/Disposal) activities,
Analysis for investment committee papers/JV meetings
JV Business Plan analysis and sensitivities

Financial
Ownership of commercial assessment model including updates to assumptions and cashflow phasing to support monthly management reporting and analysis through coordination with DM team.
