Key Responsibilities
Manage large database estates, including TB-size databases.
Install, configure, administer and troubleshoot multiple Oracle database versions.
Design and administer Oracle RAC, Data Guard and GoldenGate settings.
Install and manage ASM, including disk groups and failure groups.
Manage and administer Oracle databases on Exadata.
Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations and patching activities.
Perform database backup, recovery, refresh and reorganization using RMAN and third-party tools.
Configure and administer OEM/Grid Control for database monitoring.
Perform database performance analysis and tuning using AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL Profiles and advisory views.
Develop and troubleshoot Shell, SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
Provide production and non-production database support.
Handle critical incidents, vendor coordination, SLA tracking and risk mitigation.




Prepare and maintain SOPs and provide technical guidance to L1/L2 DBA teams.
Support 24x7/on-call production environments.

Exadata Expertise Must Have
Candidates should have solid hands-on experience with:
Oracle Exadata architecture X7 / X8 / X9
Exadata upgrades and patching
QFSP/QFSDP patching and troubleshooting
Exadata build and implementation support
IORM and DBRM resource management
Exadata alerts remediation
OS, InfiniBand (IB) Switch, Storage and Database Node patching
HBA and power maintenance
Disk maintenance, faulty disk replacement and cell server recovery
Cell Server restore from corruption/failure
ASM disk configuration with failure groups
