Key Responsibilities:
Operate pilot plant equipment as per SOPs and monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, level etc).
Maintain detailed logbooks and batch records of all trials, including observations, deviations, and process changes.
Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
Assist in start-up, shutdown, charging, sampling, and cleaning of equipment.
Maintain valuable housekeeping standards in the pilot plant area.
Ensure proper calibration and functionality of instruments & sensors.
Participate in safety drills, risk assessments, and HAZOP studies for current processes.

Competencies:
Good understanding of chemical process operations and pilot-scale equipment.




Basic knowledge of safety procedures and chemical hazards.
Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
Basic troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Good understanding of PFDs, P&IDs;, and basic instrumentation.
Awareness of chemical handling, MSDS, and safe operating practices.

Qualification: Diploma (Chemical)

Nature of Experience:
3 to 6 years experience in Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Batch process industry
