Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, neuromuscular disorders, and headaches.
Perform and interpret specialized neurological tests such as EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies.
Collaborate with radiology for neuroimaging interpretation and diagnosis.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, especially in cases involving neurosurgery, oncology, rehabilitation, or ICU care.
Provide emergency care and stroke management, including thrombolysis protocols where applicable.
Oversee and manage junior doctors, residents, and clinical staff.
Contribute to patient education and counseling.
Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and adhere to medico-legal standards.
Actively engage in academic teaching, CME programs, and research activities.
Support hospital initiatives related to quality assurance, NABH/JCI accreditation, and patient safety.

Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualification:




MD/DNB in General Medicine + DM/DNB in Neurology from a recognized institution
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of post-DM experience preferred (may vary based on hospital policy)
Licensure:
Valid registration with National/State Medical Council

Key Skills:
Excellent diagnostic reasoning and decision-making skills
Skilled in performing and interpreting neuro diagnostic procedures
Solid interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams

Desirable Attributes:
