Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor daily production as per customer requirements and production schedules.
Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Allocate manpower and machines effectively across production activities.
Monitor machine utilization, productivity, rejection, rework, and downtime.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and HR for smooth production operations.
Ensure adherence to approved SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Monitor production processes for CNC/VMC/Turning/Grinding or other precision machining operations, as applicable.
Ensure proper handling of raw materials, tools, gauges, and finished components.
Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection reports, and other required MIS.
Conduct shift handovers and communicate production-related issues to the concerned departments.
Ensure 5S, housekeeping, safety, and discipline on the shop floor.
Train and guide operators and production staff to improve productivity and process compliance.
Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen,



and continuous improvement initiatives.
Investigate production issues and coordinate for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality systems, and applicable ISO requirements.

Required Skills
Production planning and shop-floor management
Manpower handling and team leadership
Knowledge of CNC/VMC/precision machining processes
Knowledge of production documentation and MIS
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing
Basic knowledge of quality tools and inspection processes
Positive communication and coordination skills
Computer knowledge, especially MS Excel

Qualification & Experience
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related engineering field.
Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in a precision engineering/manufacturing setting.
Experience in handling shop-floor operators and production teams will be preferred.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
