Role & responsibilities
Execute sourcing for project BOMs and buyout items in line with project schedules and cost targets.
Float RFQs, prepare comparative cost statements, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers.
Raise and process purchase requisitions (PR), purchase orders (PO), and manage debit/credit notes as needed.
Conduct market research to identify and assess potential suppliers, technically and commercially.
Expedite and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery; proactively flag and resolve shortages and delays.
Monitor supplier performance and support periodic assessments for quality and delivery compliance.
Coordinate with Design, Projects, Stores, and Quality to align sourcing with requirements and incoming inspection.
Develop and maintain solid supplier relationships through structured vendor-development activity.
Drive digitization and continuous improvement of procurement workflows in the ERP.
Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and ethical conduct at all times.
