Role & responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Estimate project costs and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
Review and verify contractor and subcontractor bills.
Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
Prepare rate analysis and cost comparisons for various construction activities.
Coordinate with project, procurement, billing, and finance teams.
Evaluate variations, change orders, and extra item claims.
Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract documentation.
Verify measurements at site and certify work completed.
Track material consumption and identify cost-saving prospects.
Prepare cost reports, MIS reports, and project cash flow projections.




Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies.
Support final account settlement and project closure.

Preferred candidate profile
Solid knowledge of quantity surveying and construction costing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP software (SAP/Oracle preferred).
Valuable understanding of BOQs, contracts, and billing procedures.
Knowledge of IS Codes, DSR, and market rates.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
