Role & responsibilities
Identify and develop strategic suppliers to strengthen supply continuity and reduce sourcing risk.
Drive current and alternate item development to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of development activities.
Implement supplier diversification and cost optimization strategies aligned with business goals.
Continuously enhance procurement processes and SCM effectiveness through market and risk analysis.
To identify the need for recent vendor development in line with business requirements.
To identify and develop current items as well as alternate items with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery, thereby strengthening procurement effectiveness.
To coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of development activities within the stipulated timeframe.
To explore and implement process and capability enhancement opportunities in Supply Chain Management from a procurement perspective.
