Position: Procurement Executive

Department: Purchase / Supply Chain

Industry: API / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Experience: 2 to 3 Years

Key Responsibilities
Source and procure API raw materials, intermediates, solvents, excipients, and chemicals from approved vendors.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely processing through SAP/ERP.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Stores, QC, QA, and Finance for material requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to avoid production disruptions.
Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve supply chain issues.
Identify alternate sources and develop recent vendors for critical raw materials.
Ensure procurement activities comply with GMP, regulatory, and company requirements.




Maintain procurement records, supplier documentation, and contracts.
Track market trends and raw material price fluctuations to optimize procurement costs.
Prepare procurement MIS reports, vendor performance reports, and cost-saving analyses.
