Position: Rebar Detailer – Mid-Level to Senior Level

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Rebar Detailer with strong hands-on experience in RebarCAD and good knowledge of AISC Standards. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate reinforcement detailing drawings and bar bending schedules for US-based projects.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings using RebarCAD.
Read and interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
Prepare rebar layouts, sections, elevations, and reinforcement details.
Prepare accurate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and rebar quantities.
Ensure reinforcement detailing complies with AISC Standards and project specifications.
Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, dimensions, bar sizes, spacing, laps, and couplers.
Incorporate design changes, revisions, and checker comments.
Coordinate with Engineers, Checkers, Detailers, and Project Managers.




Identify and resolve detailing issues before drawing submission.
Ensure drawings meet project quality standards and deadlines.
Maintain proper documentation and revision control.

Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in RebarCAD.
Good knowledge of AISC Standards and US project requirements.
Robust understanding of reinforcement detailing and construction practices.
Knowledge of rebar sizes, spacing, laps, bends, hooks, couplers, and bar marks.
Ability to read and understand structural and engineering drawings.
Experience preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
Positive attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience
Experience working on US rebar detailing projects is preferred.

Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Structural Engineering, or related field.

Preferred: Immediate joiners. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
