Tasks
What you'll do
Manage and optimize allocated and non-allocated flight capacities
Prepare and manage Unit Load Device (ULD) distribution for multi-segment flights
Define and adjust access rates and overbooking parameters based on demand and capacity
Monitor market demand, flight performance and capacity changes, and implement optimization measures
Request additional flight sections or re-routings based on demand
Evaluate long-term contracts and adjust capacity allocations accordingly
Optimize revenue, load performance, queue settings and automatic confirmation parameters
Support and comply with the quality management system and utilize its tools
Coordinate resource planning and facilitate knowledge sharing within the Regional Capacity Optimization Unit
Requirements The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Logistics or related field; specialization desirable
Minimum 3–5 years experience in cargo or comparable field
Must possess legal work permit in India
Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Solid analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset
Robust customer orientation, attention to detail and adaptability
Basic Cargo Training (former A1) or equivalent air cargo knowledge
Knowledge of aircraft dimensions, loadability, Air Waybill (AWB) data, Dangerous Goods (DG) groups, stowage rules, revenue (REV) and chargeable volume (CBM)
Ability to interpret SchedConnect (COSMA) schedules and ASL calculations in easyBooking
Understanding of CER, PC-VS, mileage prorating, Doc Value and Pre-cap calculation
