Magna International, a global leader in auto parts manufacturing, is seeking a Network Engineer to join our energetic IT team in Bangalore, India. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a solid hands-on background in designing, deploying, and managing advanced network monitoring solutions. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our IT infrastructure across a complex global setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Cisco-based network solutions, including routing, switching, and wireless networks.
Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Utilize Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and security policy enforcement.
Manage and optimize network performance using Cisco Catalyst Center.
Implement and manage common network technologies, including VLANs, VTP, BGP, SD-WAN and Spanning Tree.
Design and deploy wireless networks, including performing wireless surveys to ensure optimal coverage and performance.




Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Monitor network performance and security and implement necessary improvements.
Collaborate with other IT team members to support and enhance the overall network infrastructure.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in network technologies.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco routing, switching, and wireless networks.
Strong experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco Catalyst Center.
Proficiency in common network technologies such as VLANs, VTP, BGP, SD-WAN, Spanning Tree.
