Key Responsibilities
Upgrade Planning & Execution

: Lead technical planning, perform pre-/post-upgrade tasks, and ensure system readiness.
System Copy Planning

: Define and execute system copy strategies for development, QA, and production environments.
End-to-End Testing

: Conduct regression testing, functional validation, and performance benchmarking after upgrade/system copy.
Report Validation

: Verify critical reports, dashboards, and queries for accuracy post-upgrade/system copy.
Data Integrity Checks

: Perform reconciliation and consistency checks across environments.
Performance Benchmarking

: Monitor and optimize query performance, cube loads, and ETL processes.
Transport Management

: Support transport requests and workplace synchronization during upgrade/copy.
Documentation

: Prepare technical documentation,



test scripts, and validation reports.
Stakeholder Collaboration

: Work closely with BASIS, functional teams, and business users to ensure smooth execution.

Required Skills & Experience
Solid experience in

SAP BW

(7.x/4.x or higher) including modeling, ETL, and reporting.
Proficiency in

ABAP debugging for issue resolution.
Familiarity with

SAP BO universe, Reports & publications (I.e. Nice to have)
Experience in test planning and execution for large-scale upgrades.
Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Prior involvement in end-to-end upgrade projects with full testing cycles.
